
- Mr William (Bill) Bartlett—Chairman
Bill Bartlett is a Director of Suncorp Metway, RGA Inc and Peptech. Bill has had 35 years experience in the accounting field and was a partner of Ernst & Young in Australia for 23 years, retiring in 2003. He has extensive experience in the actuarial, insurance and financial services sectors. He holds an honorary position on the Boards of the St James Ethics Centre, the Bradman Foundation and the Bradman Museum. Bill is a member of The Spastic Centre’s CBD Golf Committee which has raised over $2.9 million for The Spastic Centre.
- Mr James Hodgkinson
James Hodgkinson has over 19 years experience in property funds management, investment banking and chartered accounting. He is an Executive Director of Macquarie Group Limited, is co-head of Macquarie Bank group’s Real Estate Capital division and is on the Board of the Macquarie Group Foundation. He is also a Fellow of the Australian Property Institute. James was the instigator of The Spastic Centre’s 20/twenty Challenge event which has raised over $2 million in the last 5 years.
- Mr Graham Huxley AM
Graham Huxley AM founded Huxley Homes in 1969 with his brother Brian. Since then Huxley Homes has built over 15,000 homes and has received over 80 industry awards. Over the last 15 years Graham has been a key supporter of The Spastic Centre, building and generously contributing to the establishment of respite houses in Dee Why, St Ives, Castle Hill and many other facilities. These facilities have had a positive impact on the lives of hundreds of children and adults with cerebral palsy.
- Ms Anne Keating
Anne Keating was the General Manager, Australia of United Airlines from 1993 to 2001. She is now a professional director with board positions in a range of industries including advertising, property, construction, banking and medical research. She is on the boards of Macquarie Goodman Management Limited, STW Communications Group Limited, Macquarie Leisure Management Limited, and Spencer Street Station Redevelopment Holdings Limited. Anne is also a member of the Advisory Council of ABN AMRO Australia and New Zealand and an inaugural director of the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute. In addition to her board commitments, Anne also runs her own consulting business.
- Ms Sally Loane
Sally Loane has an extensive background in reporting on political, social and consumer issues. She has worked for major Australian newspapers including The Age, The Australian, Sydney Morning Herald and The National Times and has 25 years of journalistic experience. Her first book, "Who Cares? Guilt, Hope and the Child-Care Debate" was published in 1997. Until mid 2005 Sally was the host of the Morning Program on 702 ABC Sydney. Sally was recently appointed Director of Media and Public Affairs for Coca-Cola Amatil. Sally is a Director of SCEGGS Darlinghurst and a patron of Good Beginnings, a charitable organisation for disadvantaged parents.
- Mr Paul Masi
Paul Masi is Country Head and Chief Executive Officer of Merrill Lynch in Australia. He is also Chairman of the Australian Executive Committee and a member of the Asia Pacific Regional Executive Committee. Paul joined Merrill Lynch in Australia in 2000 and was previously Country Co-Head and Head of Australasian Equities before moving to Hong Kong in 2003 as head of Asia Pacific Region Equity Markets and Equity Trading. Since 1995, Paul has sat on several Australian Stock Exchange committees, including the Rules Committee, The National Adjudicatory Tribunal and the Appeals Tribunal.
- Mr Nick Moraitis AM
Nick Moraitis AM is CEO and Chairman of Moraitis Group of Companies, one of Australia’s leading fresh produce suppliers. Nick is a Director of The Sydney Turf Club and also President of the Casterllorizan Club in Kensington. For almost ten years, Nick has been a strong supporter of The Spastic Centre. He is Chairman of The Might And Power Gala Race Day Committee which to date has raised over $2.5 million for The Spastic Centre’s children therapy services for rural families.
- Ms Cathy O’Connor
Cathy O’Connor is Chief Executive Officer of DMG Radio Australia. She oversees the national Nova radio network as well as vega stations in Sydney and Melbourne, Star104.5 and FIVEaa in Adelaide. For ten years Cathy held the dual role of General Manager of 2DAY FM and Triple M Sydney. In 1996 Cathy won the Telstra NSW Business Women’s Award for the Private Sector in the Over 100 Employees Category, recognising her significant career achievements. Cathy has also been awarded a Centenary Medal for Australian Society in Business Leadership in 2003.
- Mr Pat Sergi OAM
Pat Sergi OAM is a Managing Director of Startan Pty. Ltd., Chairman of the Italian Affair Committee and has been involved with The Spastic Centre for 19 years, raising millions of dollars and building our Fairfield Marconi Centre. He received an OAM in 1996 for services to the community, specifically for his work with The Spastic Centre, Fred Hollows Foundation, Bali Appeal, Wadell Family Appeal and Tsunami Appeal. Pat is also the Chairman and founder of the Paint a Rainbow Foundation, launched in 2005, in support of worthy causes.
- Mr John Sintras
John Sintras is Chief Executive Officer, Starcom Worldwide (Australia) and President, Media Federation of Australia. John is a keen contributor to the media industry, presenting regularly at industry conferences and seminars on topics affecting the media and communications industries. John sits on the General Committee of the Audit Bureau of Circulations, the Board of OZTAM, and is a Director of the Advertising Standards Bureau. John is also an Ambassador for the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation. John is a member of The Spastic Centre’s CBD Golf Committee which has raised over $2.9 million for The Spastic Centre.
